Celanese announced that the price of polyethylene will be raised from May 1
Celanese announced that its Celanese EVA high performance polymer (limited to now) company will increase the sales price of all grades of atevaeva by $0.06/lb, and the sales price of all grades of low-density polyethylene (LDPE) by $0.05/lb. The price increase will take effect from May 1st, 2011, when normal friction occurs, but generally downstream enterprises are considering their own economic effects, or according to the contract
earlier, Celanese announced that the sales price of all grades of atevaeva would be increased by US $0.08/lb from April 15, 2011, and the sales price of all grades of low density polyethylene (LDPE) would be increased by US $0.06/lb. This price increase is another price increase after April 15. Celanese did not explain the intensive price increase
